IN HYMEN’S COURT.
CURTIS—BAKER.
On Saturday morning last at nine o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents, Miss Kate Field Baker, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Baker, was united in marriage to Mr. Norman P. Curtis, Rev. M. Willett officiating.
The ceremony was performed in the presence of a small company of relatives and near friends, and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis departed on their wedding journey on the 11:45 train.
During the years since her coming with her parents to Decorah, the bride had grown to a charming young womanhood, and in her going she takes with her the heartiest congratulations and good wishes of many friends who have learned to know and appreciate her many excellent traits of character. The gentleman whom she has chosen to honor with her hand and heart is a civil engineer by profession. His home is at Madison, Wis.
Among those from out of town who were present at the wedding were Mrs. Curtis, and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Curtis, of Madison, mother and uncle and aunt of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Davis, Mrs. Stephen Davis and son and Miss Elizabeth Davis of Monona, Misses Elizabeth and Julia Whitman of Winona, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Schermerhorn of Chicago, G. R. Baker and family of Ridgeway, Miss Edna Baker of Sioux City, Miss Mabel Howard of Riverside, Cal., Mr. Hobart Clark of Rosebud Agency, S. D.
