A June Wedding.
At 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter E. Haugen, grandparents of the bride, occurred the wedding of Miss Charlotte Haugen, only daughter of Mrs. Josie Haugen, to Rev. Lauritz Larsen, third son of Prof. and Mrs. Laur Larsen, Rev. Nicolai Larsen, brother of the groom, officiated. The bride was attended by attended by{sic} Miss Signe Larsen and the groom by Rev. Benjamin Hustvedt of Oakland, Cal. After the ceremony the wedding supper was served and Rev. and Mrs. Larsen departed for Chicago. It will be pleasant news to their many friends to know they are to be near neighbors as Rev. Larsen has accepted a call to the Synod Lutheran church at Cresco and will assume his duties soon after the close of the Synod meeting which is now in session in Chicago. The ceremony which united these young people was witnessed by a small company of relatives and very near friends. To the congratulations of those present will be added the best wishes of a host of acquaintances both here and elsewhere, who entertain for Rev. Larsen and his bride the highest regard.
