The coming marriage of Mr. John Huinker to Miss Rosa Houdek was announced from St. John’s pulpit Sunday.

At St. John’s Catholic church at 8:30 this morning occurred the marriage of Miss Rosa Houdek to Mr. John Huinker, Rev. Marshalek performing the ceremony. Miss Houdek is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Houdek and is well and very favorably known by all in this city. Mr. Huinker is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Huinker of Festina, but during the past several years has been resident of this place. During his stay here he has made a host of friends. The young couple were attended by Miss Mary Huinker as bridesmaid, and her brother acted as best man. After the ceremony the immediate relatives and closest friends assembled at the home of the bride’s parents, where a bountiful wedding breakfast was served. Mr. and Mrs. Huinker departed on the noon train for Rockwell, Iowa, for a short visit with the groom’s sister, Mrs. Frank Pitzenberger. On their return they will go to housekeeping in the Chizek home. The best wishes of their many friends are extended.
