Married Next Tuesday
At the Hotel Metropole, Chicago, next Tuesday evening, Feb. 4th, at 6:30 o’clock, will occur the marriage of Miss Josephine Bear, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bear of this city, to Mr. Samuel G. Heller. The ceremony will be performed by Dr. Messing of Bloomington, Ill. Miss Bear will be attended by Miss Irene Heller, the groom’s sister, as maid of honor, and Mr. Heller by his brother, Mr. Bernie Heller. Mrs. David Benjamin of Springfield, Ill, the bride’s sister, will be matron of honor, the Misses Heller, nieces of the groom, will be ring bearers, and Mr. Benjamin master of ceremonies. The hand of the bride will be given in marriage by her father. The ceremony will be witnessed by a company of about fifty, mostly relatives.
This event is one which has been anticipated for some months by the home friends of the bride. In surroundings that have been most happy and inspiring she has grown to a charming womanhood that reflects grace, character, and honor to worthy parentage. As she goes out to join the man of her choice in a new home making it can be with no little satisfaction to Mr. and Mrs. Bear that the future portends for their daughter a repetition of the happiness which has ever been their portion. The gentleman with whom Miss Bear will link her destinies is one of the prominent young men in south side business circles in Chicago, being manager of a large mercantile establishment. In the few visits he has made to Decorah he has won the respect of all who met him, and it will be a pleasure for them to join in heartiest congratulations.
After a short honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Heller will return to Chicago and begin home making at 5653 Calumet Avenue.
