Wedding Bells are Ringing.
On Tuesday evening at six o’clock, at the home of the bride’s mother, Dr. H. H. Green officiating occurred the marriage of Nellie E. Heinberg, daughter of Mrs. Louis Heinberg, and Rev. W. F. Pitner, D. D. The ceremony was witnessed by immediate relatives only, and Rev. and Mrs. Pitner departed yesterday morning for Marshalltown, which will be their home. The greater part of the bride’s life has been spent in Decorah where she enjoys the friendship and esteem of many of our citizens. Several years ago she graduated from the Illinois Training School for Nurses, and after holding the position of head nurse in the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago for some time she went to Butte, Mont., to take the superintendency of a hospital there, later she assumed a similar position at Dixon, Ill. This position she resigned several months ago and returned to her home here. The groom is well known in Decorah as a former pastor of the local Methodist church. Since leaving here he has grown to fields of larger usefulness, and is now entering upon his fifth year as Presiding elder of the Marshalltown district, U. I. conference, which he holds with honor both to himself and the church.
