On Thursday last at McFarland, Wis., occurred the marriage of Rev. Carl Preus, second son of Prof. and Mrs. C. K. Preus and Miss Dikka Brandt, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Brandt. The wedding was the largest ever held at McFarland and called together a company of upwards of five hundred guests. Uniting as it does two families that had much to do with the first days of the Norwegian faith in America, it is not surprising that these young people start on life’s journey together with the good wishes of a host of friends. Rev. Preus took his bride to Manitowoc, where their home will be.
