On Thursday last Prof. and Mrs. L. S. Reque reached their silver wedding anniversary and the faculty of Luther College, their wives and the students invaded the Reque home and gave the Professor and his wife occasion to remember the event by telling them just what they thought about it and leaving several handsome pieces of silver as mementoes. It is needless to say that, being a surprise, it was a most complete and happy one.
