Married Saturday.
On Saturday last in Chicago at the home of Mrs. J. C. Wessmer, sister of the groom, occurred the marriage of Miss Tilla Louise Marsh, younger daughter of Mrs. M. S. Marsh of this city, and Mr. William C. Lurton, Rev. Dr. Freeman officiating. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Lurton departed for Jacksonville, Ill., where they will visit Mr. Lurton’s parent and then go on to Peoria, where they will be at home after March first. This event will come as pleasant news to the home friends of the bride who hold her in high esteem, and wish for her every happiness. The groom has until recently been engaged in shoe trade in Chicago and is a young man of splendid character and business attainments.
