Wedded Yesterday.
Yesterday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the home of the bride’s mother occurred the marriage of Miss Ruth Nancy Bullis, youngest daughter of Mrs. Levi Bullis, to Mr. Gilbert G. Dickerman of Duluth Minn. The bride was attended by her sister Miss Clela Bullis and the groom by Mr. George E. Robson of Duluth. The marriage service was read by Rev. M. Willett, and the ceremony was witnessed by a small company of relatives and intimate friends. The bride was given away by her brother Mr. Levi F Bullis. The house was handsomely decorated with southern smilax and holly the color scheme being a charming blend of the red and green of Christmas time. After the ceremony the guests partook of a wedding breakfast and Mr. and Mrs. Dickerman departed at 11:45 for the south.
The bride is beloved by a large circle of acquaintances, who have gone with her step by step as she developed into a charming young womanhood. To her new home she will lend all the graces that native worth and refinement can bring and in it she may rest secure in the good wishes and congratulations of a host of friends. The groom passed his boyhood days in Decorah, and is the third son in one of our pioneer families. For a number of years he has been among the foremost of the successful young business men of the Zenith City, a gentleman of high standing in both social and business circles, and one who is honored by his acquaintances for his sterling integrity.
Among those from out of town who came to attend the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. David A. Noyes, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick R. Fulton and Mr. T. S. Noyes of Chicago, Levi F. Bullis of Detroit, Minn., Mrs. Louise D. Fraker, Charles R. Dickerman, Charles D. Matteson and Sumner W. Matteson of St. Paul, Miss Alice Kerwin of Neenah, Wis., and Miss Louise Thornton of Bedford, Ind., college chums of the bride, Geo. E. Robson of Duluth, and Max Matteson of Menominee, Wis.
