Invitations are out for the wedding of Miss Bertha McMillen, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. McMillen, and Mr. Oscar Hutchins, of Valton, Wis., the ceremony to takes{sic} place at the Friends’ church on the 18th.

On Wednesday, the 18th at 11 A. M., Mr. Oscar Hutchins, of Valton, Wis., and Miss Bertha McMillen, of Hesper, were married at the Friends church, in the presence of a large company of invited guests. Rev J. Hilburn, officiated. After the ceremony at the church a great many of the guests repaired to the home of the parents of the bride, where were displayed the gifts, about sixty in number, and ranging in size and usefulness from a pickle fork to a beautiful oak extension table. After the gifts had been duly admired, nearly one hundred and sixty people sat down to bountifully laden tables and until about 4 P. M., fun, feasting and social intercourse were the order of the day. Among the guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Mike O’Brien, of Decorah, and Misses Lottie and May Freeman, and Mrs. Maude Fresher, of Sheldon, Minn.
