A Christmas Wedding.
Last evening at the Baptist church Miss Pearl Murphy, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Murphy, and Mr. Wm. Kleinke, of Albert Lea, Minn., were united in marriage, Rev. W. D. James officiating. The church had been handsomely trimmed in anticipation of Christmas and a large company was present to witness the ceremony. Promptly at 6:30 o'clock the wedding party appeared at the door and proceeded to the altar. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Horton, of Ft. Atkinson, and the bride and groom were attended by Misses Della Murphy, Emma Kleinke, and Nettie Gellerman and Messrs. Roy Hislop, Herman Kleinke and Allen Murphy. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in West Decorah which was attended by two score or more of friends and relatives. Among those who were in attendance from out of town were Mrs. D. Horton, of Granger, Miss Gertrude Boice, Preston, Miss Kleinke and Mr. Herman Kleinke, Albert Lea, and Dr. and Mrs. Horton of Ft. Atkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Kleinke were the recipient of many very handsome presents from friends.
