Married a New York Lady.
Though the intelligence comes rather late it will none the less surprise the friends and acquaintances of Wm. H. Valleau that he was married on the 25th of August in Chicago to a lady from New York—Emma Divine by name. A vague rumor was circulated here some months ago that Mr. Valleau had married or was soon to marry an eastern lady, but as no further intelligence of the event was received, it was soon forgotten. Our information concerning the event was gleaned from the list of marriage licenses issued in Chicago and published in the Inter Ocean.
