MARRIED.
MADDEN—BLOXAM—At the residence of the bride’s parents, in Castalia, June 5th, by Rev. O. W. Rose, Mr. Geo. W. Madden, of Fayette, and Emma C. Bloxham, daughter of Mrs. Wm. Bloxam.Source: Decorah Republican June 13, 1895 P 8 C 2, 3
Mr. George Madden and Miss Emma Bloxham were married at the residence of the bride’s parents, Wednesday, June 5th. A few invited friends were present to witness the ceremony, Rev. Rose officiating. Mrs. Madden is well and favorably known, having lived here all her life, excepting a few years’ residence at Madison, S. Dak., where she held the position of Deputy Postmaster. The groom is engaged in the livery business at Fayette, for which place the happy couple left to make their future home, last Monday. The best wishes of their many friends go with them to their now home.
