Mr. J. E. Briggs, of Ridgeway, and Miss Mildred Peacock, of Hesper, were married at high noon on the 3d at the home of the bride’s parents. Rev. J. Hilburn officiating. The guests to the wedding were numerous and jolly and the gifts to the newly wedded pair were many and useful. Your “Happener” played “Nasby” while the Doctors Worth went to the wedding, but the bride and groom kindly remembered him with some generous samples of cake. “May they live long and prosper.”
