One of the happiest events of the season was the thirtieth anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Masters, at their home four miles northwest of Burr Oak, Saturday evening, Dec. 12th. Notwithstanding the extremely bad roads a large company of relatives and friends were present. Their tokens of esteem were various, among them a beautiful dresser. At the proper time a bountiful repast was served and thoroughly enjoyed. At a somewhat late hour all left with pleasant recollections of the happy gathering and hoping for many returns of the day.
