—One of the pleasant events of our town was the twentieth anniversary of the twentieth anniversary{sic} of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. E. Bovee at their home four miles west. It had been planned by their many friends to make this couple a surprise on the eventful occasion. Over fifty were present. Their tokens of esteem were various, among them being a bedroom set. Refreshments were served and at a somewhat late hour all left with pleasant recollections of the events
