—A rumor of the marriage of Herbert T. Baker and Miss Mildred Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Allen, which has been current for the past ten days, is confirmed this week by announcement from the family of the bride. The wedding occurred at Prairie du Chien on Aug. 18th. Though their friends have been deprived of extending congratulations until this time they will be none the less hearty or sincere.
