The marriage of Miss Bessie Webb and Mr. William L. Smith, occurred at four o’clock, Sunday afternoon, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. A.N. Webb, 206, North Seventh street. The ceremony was performed by Rev Dr. Torrance, of the First Presbyterian church, in the presence only of immediate friends. A pleasant supper was served.

The groom is a member of the Smith Manufacturing Co., and well known and respected in business circles. The bride has numerous friends who unite in wishing her happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Smith will shortly leave for a visit to the World’s Fair, after which they will return and settle down to housekeeping.
