Thursday evening, April 30th, Peter Ruffridge said good-bye to his bachelor friends, wended his way across the main street in the village towards the church, and when he returned he came as a married man. The lady in question was Miss Annie Kern, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kern. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Seehuus. It was a very quiet affair, as only immediate relatives were present. Both the bride and groom were raised from childhood among us, and we wish them all the happiness this world can give them. Last but not least we hope that Peter will still be one of the boys.
