“Chub" Baker, as he is known among his friends, youngest son of Joseph Baker, and Eva Dinger, daughter of Decorah’s nightwatch, went to LaCrosse last week and were married there. The couple thought they were being very quiet about it, but news of their departure followed within a very short time. We understand they will return to Decorah this week, and the boy will work his father's farm south of town.
