Married.
Yesterday morning at 6 o'clock nuptial mass at St. Wenceslaus church at Spillville, Iowa, occurred the marriage of Miss Gerterude{sic} Slebiska of that community to Mr. Wm. H. Herold of this city, Rev. Father Bros officiated at the sacred ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Mary Herold, sister of the groom as maid of honor and Mr. Frank Riehle, cousin of the bride, as best man, Miss Agnes Hasting, cousin of the bride, as bridesmaid and Mr. Andrew Herold, brother of the groom as groomsman.
Immediately after the church services, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents to immediate relatives. The newly wedded couple then took the morning train for their tour of the principal cities of the west and visits at the expositions at San Diego and San Francisco. They will be gone for a month or six weeks.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Slebiska of Calmar. She is a splendid young woman of the very highest reputation and standing whereever she is known. She will bring to her home the fine womanly qualities which make for success and happiness.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herold of Cresco and is now a partner and the manager of the Huber-Herold Furniture company of New Hampton. He is one of our excellent young bus- ness men of character and high standing before all with whom he has become acquainted.
We wish for this worthy young couple a fullness of happiness and success all through life and join all people of this community in extending a welcome to the bride soon to become a resident of our city.—New Hampton Tribune.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the bride’s first name is misspelled. It should be Gertrude.
