Married. Small – Garland – At the residence of the bride’s brother, J.C. Garland, in Dubuque. Tuesday, June 20th, 1893. Mr. L.M. Small of Decorah, and Miss Lita Garland of Dubuque, Rev. W. F. Pitner of Decorah officiating.

Along with a large number of Decorah friends the REPUBLICAN wishes to extend its congratulations and good wishes. May they live long and prosper.

--Rev. W. F. Pitner was called to Dubuque Monday to perform the wedding ceremony which united L.M. Small and Miss Lita Garland in marriage. He returned to Postville yesterday to attend conference.
