—A very pleasant social event which occurred last Friday evening, Dec, 3d, was the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Benj. Ward. They had been married thirty-eight years and their old friends and neighbors thought it a fit time to show their kinds regards. Z. B. London made some very appropriate remarks when presenting them with a very fine couch. The supper was served at his son's in the adjoining house. All had a delightful time and wish the happy couple would enjoy many similar times in the years to come.
