Married in Illinois. On Thursday last cards were received announcing the marriage of Mr. Eldred R. Baker, of this city, and Miss Nettie Louise Brown, of LaGrange, Ill., at the latter place on Tuesday, the 20th inst. This is the happy consummation of an engagement which was announced several months ago. During the several terms Miss Brown taught in Decorah schools she won many warm friends who will be glad to welcome her again on her return. As the Assistant Cashier at the First National Bank Mr. Baker has long held the respect and esteem of a large and ever growing circle of acquaintances who will extend sincere congratulations and good wishes to him and his bride. They will be at home after August 1st.
