At the residence of the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Reed, Sept. 2d occured the marriage of their youngest daughter Miss Elsie E. Reed and Mr. Glenwood R. Oren, in the presence of immediate friends and relatives. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Hilburn in a very impressive manner. The bride was very charmingly gowned in straw colored silk trimmed with white lace and white and yellow roses. After congratulations and a bountiful repast the bride donned her beautiful traveling suit of brown and green and amid showers of rice from the enthusiastic young people the happy pair drove to Prosper where they took the evening train for St. Charles. As the young couple have lived in this part of the country since infancy they have a large circle of friends who all unite in wishing them long years of wedded happiness. A large number of valuable wedding presents were bestowed upon them as tributes of love.
