Matrimonial.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Rosenthal, in West Decorah, was the scene of great enjoyment to a large circle of friends Tuesday evening. The occasion was the marriage of Miss Minnie Gutcka, sister of Mrs. Rosenthal and Mr. George Young, and it was also the tenth or tin anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Rosenthal; hence the event was all the more an occasion for rejoicing to the participants. After the ceremony, a bountiful wedding supper was served, and the guests prepared themselves for an evening of enjoyment. Dancing was in order for those who wished to indulge, and other forms of pleasure were provided for those who did not dance. The newly married couple and the host and hostess were serenaded by both the new band and the Decorah City band. The festivities were continued until late into the early hours of Wednesday morning. Numerous tokens of esteem were presented to both Mr. and Mrs. Young, and Mr. and Mrs. Rosenthal, and as a memento of the occasion Mr. R. will occasionally don for the entertainment of his friends, a high tin hat, made in imitation of a silk tile, which Chas. Trzeinski gave him. The guests enjoyed a thoroughly jolly time and the host and hostess appreciate most heartily the kindly feeling shown for them by their neighbors and friends.
