HYMENEAL.
The {?} of a wedding in which many Decorians were interested were told in advance by last Thursday’s Manchester Press, and we copy the item:
A very pretty wedding ceremony will be performed in the parlors of the Clarence House to-night at seven o’clock, when Mr. Charles W, Burdick, president of the Citizens Savings Bank of Decorah and one of the prominent men of that city, will be united in marriage to Miss Noble Dixson, the petite and charming daughter of Landlord Samuel Dixson, and whose home has been in Dubuque, The wedding will be strictly a family affair, only a limited number of friends being privileged to witness the ceremony, which will be performed according to the Episcopal ritual by Rev. J. W. Keator, rector of St. John’s church, Dubuque. The decorations for both the parlors and the dining rooms are in pink and white, consisting of roses, carnations and chrysanthemums. Mr. and Mrs. Burdick will make their home in Decorah.
Among the out of town guests to witness this marriage are Miss Harriet Proctor, of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Scott, of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Dixson and Mr. Glenn Dixson, of Decorah, Hon. Wm. Graham, Mr. and Mrs. Dell C. Huntoon, Mr. Geo. Wybrant, and the Misses Maude and Emma Marshall, all of Dubuque.
