Captured a Nebraskan.
That Walter N. Drake was not wholly a land seeker in his trip to Nebraska is made clear by an announcement under the head "married” in this issue. The event therein recorded is commented upon by the home paper of the bride’s family—the Blair Pilot in this manner.
The marriage of Miss Mary Cameron, of Vacoma, and Mr. Walter Drake, of Decorah, Iowa, occurred yesterday at, the residence of E. Z. Russell near Berman in the presence of a large circle of relatives and friends. The bride is the daughter of Mac Cameron, of Grant township, an estimable young lady of womanly qualities, while the groom is a young man of excellent habits and fitted in every way to become a helpmate for his charming bride. Mr. and Mrs. Drake left that evening for Decorah their future home, amid a shower of rice, carrying the wishes of a host of friends with them.
The REPUBLICAN extends its heartiest congratulations.
