Dr. W. M. McDonald and Miss Mamie Thaler were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents in Calmar, Saturday, June 24th, at 6:30 P. M., Rev. C. A. Parkin officiating. A large company witnessed the ceremony and partook of the refreshments that were served immediately afterwards on the lawn. Music enlivened the evening hours and the guests departed wishing the couple a long and happy wedded life. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald departed Monday morning for their future home at Elkport, S. D., where the groom is engaged in the practice of dentistry.
