Although the extremely cold evening prevented many from attending over seventy were present at the twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and
Mrs. Jas. Donald at their beautiful home northwest of Burr Oak. The happy couple were completely surprised, by their friends’ presence as well as the lovely silver tea set presented them. A sumptuous supper was served of oysters and various kinds of fruit and all enjoyed themselves to the greatest extreme. That the coming years may be full of happiness and many returns of the day, Dec. 29th, may be enjoyed by them is the wish of their many friends.
