On Tuesday morning, May 20, 1913, Miss Helen Slebiska and Bertram M. Graf were united in marriage at St. Wenceslaus church, Spillville, Iowa. It was a quiet affair and no invitations sent out.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Slebiska who have a lovely farm home three miles west of Calmar. She is a very highly esteemed young lady. She was a graduate of the Calmar high school a member of the class of 1912.
The groom is a popular young man and now located at Marshalltown, Ia., formerly of Cresco. Their future home will be at Marshalltown.
The young couple went east on a wedding trip.—Calmar Courier.
The young couple came to Cresco last Thursday for a brief visit at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Graf. Bert's many friends in Cresco wish him and his bride all kinds of success in their future life.
