A Wedding in Calmar.
Yesterday afternoon at Calmar Miss Ida Evenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Evenson, was married to Rev. M. K. Bleken, of Chicago, Rev. Paul Koren officiating. Miss Evenson is one of Calmar's most estimable young ladies.
Several years ago she graduated in Chicago as a trained nurse and since has followed that vocation. Rev. Bleken is pastor of one of the Lutheran churches of Chicago.Source: Decorah Republican Nov. 1, 1900 P 6 C 3
Rev. Martinus K. Bleken, of Chicago, and Miss Ida Evenson, of Calmar, were united in marriage at the Lutheran church here on the 24th inst. Rev. Paul Koren officiating. The bride was one of Calmar’s most estimable young ladies and has a host of admiring friends here who will wish here{sic} and her fortunate husband joy and prosperity in their Chicago home and all through their life journey.
