Marriage of Dr. T. L. Rice.
A special telegram to the St. Paul Pioneer Press supplies the details which we lacked in relation to the marriage of Dr. T. L Rice, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Rice.
Ames, Iowa, Sept. 20.—Dr. Thomas L. Rice, veterinarian on the staff of Col. Roosevelt during the Spanish-American war, was married here to Miss Harriet McCarthy. Dr. Rice is employed by the United States department of animal industry at Cincinnati. Miss McCarthy is the daughter of Dan McCarthy, of the firm of McCarthy & Lee, and a niece of C. G. McCarthy, ex-auditor of state.
