Wedding Anniversary,
On Thursday, March 29th, about fifty of the friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Perry met at their residence in Hesper township, it being the thirty-seventh anniversary of their married life. As the gathering was in the nature of a surprise each family represented provided bountifully of the good things of life to satisfy the cravings of the inner man. Those having the matter in charge had purchased a beautiful silver tea service of five pieces. Each one present cheerfully contributed their mite toward the purchase. Before partaking of the mid-day repast Rev. Cummings in a very felicitious and pleasing manner presented the silver service to Mr. and Mrs. Perry. The remainder of the day was spent in feasting, social intercourse and games to the pleasure of all present.
