The report that Mr. Robert Simpson and Miss Cora Bates were married in Chicago on Monday last was confirmed by a letter from Miss Bates to a member of the Decorah school board resigning her position in the public schools. Mr. Simpson and Miss Bates are so well known and so highly esteemed by their many friends and acquaintances that words of praise would be superfluous. That life may contain for them all the pleasures and the minimum of sorrow is a wish that accompanies the congratulations of their friends.
