A Sioux City Wedding.
At the first Presbyterian church in Sioux City last Thursday evening, Claude A. Baker and Miss Alice Jandt were united in marriage. Local interest in this event centers in the fact that the groom is a son of A. D. Baker, years ago one of the leading merchants of Ossian. The Sioux City Journal, commenting on the event, says:
Both the bride and groom are well known in Sioux City society circles. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Jandt and through her personal attractiveness has formed a large circle of friends. The groom, Mr. Claude A. Baker, is connected with the Baker hardware company, of Sioux City, and is well and favorably known in local business circles.
Mr. and Mrs. Baker were guests over Sunday last of the families of F. H. and A. C. Baker, of this city.
