ALGYER—MCKAY.
Last evening, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Williams on east Water street, Mr. Ray Algyer and Miss Mae McKay, sister of Mrs. Willlams, were united in marriage by Rev. M. Willett, D. D. This is a union which has been anticipated for some time by the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Algyer and one which promises much in happiness. For a number of years Miss McKay has been one of the faithful and efficient teachers of the Decorah public schools, rendering service which is measured largely by the love and esteem in which she is held by pupils and their parents and the respect that is shown for her by a large circle of friends. Mr. Algyer came here a few years ago from Primghar, his parental home, to assume a place In the Winnesheik County Bank, and it is but doing him justice to say that his efficiency has won for him advancement and the confidence of his employers. A genial disposition has added to this a place in the social circles of Decorah that any young man might well feel proud of attaining. It is only natural then that the best wishes of a host of friends accompany Mr. and Mrs. Algyer as they enter upon married life.
