— Invitations are out to the friends of Sam G. Sloane and his better three-quarters, to gather at the Gilbert hotel at Charles City on the 26th of July and help them celebrate the anniversary of an event which took place at Dallas Center twenty-five years ago by which Sam and “she,” that is Emma Louise Brockway, agreed to trot in double harness for the rest of their lives. This office acknowledges invitations and reports that it cannot participate in the fun there is certain to be on that evening. We send our heartiest congratulations.
