Married To-night.
At the home of the bride's parents on Vernon street, this evening at six o’clock, Miss Laura M Francisco, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Francisco, will be united in marriage with Mr. Alexander M. Kerr, of Waterloo, Rev. M. Willett, D. D., officiating. At 8:45 Mr. and Mrs. Kerr will depart for the east and after June 1st they will be at home at 328 Washington street, Waterloo. So many years of the bride’s life have been passed in Decorah that her friends, glad that she is entering upon a union that promises so much in happiness, regret that it is to mean her separation from them. Mr. Kerr, as the representative of the large wholesale house of Carson, Pirie, Scott & Co. of Chicago has won the esteem and friendship of all he has come in contact with in his visits to Decorah, and the sincere, hearty congratulations of both his friends and Mrs. Kerr’s are extended to them as they start on life’s journey together.Source: Decorah Republican Apr. 4, 1901 P 4 C 1
