Pilgrim-Elwick.
Last evening at the home of the bride’s parents, one mile north of this city, Walter F. Pilgrim, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Pilgrim, of Madison township, and Miss Anna Elwick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Elwick, were united in marriage, Rev. Thomas J. Elwick, brother of the bride, assisted by Rev. A. W. Smith, performing the ceremony. A company of about fifty relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony, which was followed by a delicious wedding supper. Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim are members of two of the best families of the county and each enjoy the acquaintance and esteem of many friends. That theirs may be a happy and prosperous wedded life is the sincere wish of all who know them.
