Last Monday Robert Reed came down from Hesper to have Dr. Smith operate on one of his eyes. Saturday while at work over the emery wheel in his shop, a small particle of steel was thrown into his left eye, which the Hesper physicians were unable to find. It pained him very much until after the operation was performed, when the eye was immediately relieved. He is now getting along nicely.
