Wedding Anniversary.
The twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Farrell, of Orleans Township, occurred on May 17th, and during the evening they were completely surprised by a large number, almost 100, of neighbors and friends, who came bearing gifts and a bountiful picnic supper.
In behalf of the assembled guests, Hugh Mc Bride presented Mr. and Mrs. Farrell with an elegant book case and a dining table.
Dancing was the favorite amusement and it continued till a late hour, when the company departed wishing Mr. and Mrs. Farrell many more happy wedding anniversaries. Those donating toward the presents, most of who were present were as follows:
