Married an Oregon Girl.
The Hesper friends of the L. W. Updegraff family will read with interest the following paragraph from the Culldesac, (Idaho,) Register. C. B. Updegraff, the pleasant cashier of the Vollmer-Clearwater bank, has been absent several days, and when he returns there will be a Mrs. Updegraff with him, she that used to be Miss Bertha Thayer of Salem, Oregon. This lady has agreed to share Mr. Updegraff’s joys and sorrows. They will begin housekeeping in a fine new residence on The Bench that is now just receiving the finishing touches. It is the most palatial looking domicile in our little city, and if a good natured husband and a fine house will add to Mrs. Updegraff’s pleasure then she will be happy indeed.
