Its twelfth Year The Valder Normal School Is now entering upon Its twelfth year. From a small beginning It has grown to be a large school; and it has accomplished a vast amount of good The management of this Institution from its inception foresaw the importance of employing. only able and skilled teachers. By pursuing this policy it has been a financial success, and it has thus enabled the proprietor to increase the efficiency oi every department each succeeding year. The number of branches taught in this school is limited. No other school in this country has pursued the same policy. The broad field of elementary work claims its best efforts. It does not seek to do college work It is a practical school for young ladies and gentlemen whose early education has been neglected. Such subjects as Reading, Orthography, U. S. History, Physiology, Arithmetic, Grammar and Geography are taught by specialists who have taught these subjects for many years, thus ensuring to the student thorough and efficient instruction. No otbor private school in the Northwest provisos its patrons in the foregoing branches with teachers who have equal ability and experience. This school is filling successfully a niche in our educational system, and is a promoter of Elementary Education.
