Again the wedding bells have been rung. On Oct. 22, 1902. Mr. Ben Eggen and Miss Mary Danielson were joined in holy matrimony at the Canoe Lutheran Church. In the morning heavy clouds covered the sky, but when the time for the ceremony came, the sun shone upon the happy bridal pair. Promptly at the appointed hour the procession, keeping step to the music of the wedding march played by Miss Lean came into the beautifully decorated church, where Rev. P. Steiserson of Ossian, Iowa, pronounced Mr. Eggen and Miss Danielson man and wife. The groomsmen were the Messrs. Daniel Danielson, Olaf Eggen and Martin Anderson, and the bridesmaids were the Misses Tilla Eggen, Anna Boland and Maria Berg. After the ceremony the young couple hurried to the beautiful home of the parents, where a large circle of relatives and friends united in extending hearty congratulations, joy, happiness and prosperity to the young couple. They all repaired to the dining room where the rich and tasty tables were groaning beneath their bounteous burdens,—so many good things that words utterly would fail to express it. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Danielson, an industrious girl, who is respected by all who know her. The groom is the second oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Eggen and is an industrious farmer as well as a carpenter and contractor. Mr. and Mrs. Eggen will go to house keeping at once.
