To-day occurs the marriage of Will Novek, a former Calmarite, but now a resident of Spillville, to Miss Hedwig Svdow, the postmistress at Conover. They will go to Minneapolis on a wedding trip, and will make their home at Spillville.

Tuesday, Sept.2d, 1902, Wm. F. Novak and Hedvig Sydow of Conover were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev, Dostal officiating. Mr. Novak has been clerk in the store of A. A. Novak’s (his cousin) and is well liked here. Miss Hedvig has for many years been postmistress at Conover and has been known as a very nice lady. After the ceremony, which occurred at nine o’clock, the young married couple departed for Minneapolis on their honeymoon. On their return we understand they will make their home here, at which we are pleased, and extend them a hearty welcome.

Transcriber's Note: The groom's last name is spelled two different ways. The bride's first name is spelled differently.
