A Hesper Wedding.
Yesterday at the pleasant farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Barth, in Hesper township, Miss Lizzie Barth be¬ame the bride of Charles T. Brvant. The bride was attended by Misses Mary Stoskopf and Julia Barth, and the groom by Charles Barth and John Wendling, Rev. K. Seehuus performing the ceremony in the presence of about three hundred guests. After congratulations had been extended, the guests turned to the enjoyment of the occasion and participated in an afternoon of pleasant social intercourse, dancing, etc. At the proper hour, a most bounteous wedding repast was served, and to which ample justice was done. Miss Barth was born in Hesper township and enjoys the esteem of a large circle of friends, among whom she has grown to womanhood. Mr. Bryant is a well-to-do young farmer, of Dubuque, Kan., where he takes his bride to make a home. Many presents were given them as tokens of friendship and good will. Among those present, from Decorah, were Sam Blaess and H A. Gremm and families, E. Rosenthal and wife, K. I. Haugen, W. B. Reed, Frank Low, O. M. Drexel, Henry Gremm, Ed Bear, D. Stevens and Ed. Sellman.
