— Last Sunday a party of about 150 people treated Mr. and Mrs. John Austad to a surprise, the event being the 25th anniversary of their wedding. The occasion was enlivened by a few well rendered selections by “The Lumbermen’s Quartette,” of Decorah Mr. Austad, a well known contractor and builder living in Springfield township, a mile or more northwest of Nordness.
