In Hymen’s Bonds.
The marriage of Miss Mary Hutchinson and Mr. Martin J. Soukup took place Tuesday morning at nine o'clock, the ceremony performed by Rev. P. Hawe. After the ceremony the bridal party and a few intimate friends gath¬red at the home of H. J. Hutchinson where the wedding feast was served. Mr. and Mrs. Soukup departed on the noon train for New Orleans, where the honeymoon will be spent.
Miss Hutchinson has lived ever since her childhood in Decorah winning friends by her sunny disposition and gracious manner. Mr. Soukup is a young man whom Decorah borrowed from his parental home in Spillville and liked so well that she decided to keep him. In his vocation as a jeweller he has built up a splendid business and is counted as one of the enterprising businessmen of the city. The REPUBLICAN extends its heartiest congratulation to Mr. and Mrs. Soukup.
