Hymeneal.
Last evening at the home of the bride’s mother, at Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Miss Minnie Wohlford was united in marriage with Mr. Albert Van Vliet. Although the Wohlford family home was changed from Decorah to Mt. Vernon a number of months ago, Miss Wohlford’s services as a teacher have been so highly appreciated here in Winneshiek county that she has not been permitted in leave except for vacations. That she is coming back to remain permanently is a matter of gratification to a large circle of friends who entertain for her the highest regard. Mr. Van Vleit is one of the prosperous and enterprising young farmers of Hesper township, a young man worthy in all ways. The REPUBLICAN joins Mr. and Mrs. Van Vliet’s friends in heartiest congratulations.Source: Decorah Republican Apr. 10, 1902 Page 6 Col 2
